A Sales Manager
The LOM Group of companies is seeking a Sales Manager to work in our international financial services firm. Our corporate headquarters are located in Bermuda and we currently have subsidiaries in the Bahamas and London.
We are seeking an individual to act as a Sales Manager in Bermuda reporting directly to the CEO of LOM Holdings. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong people skills. The ability to work with brokers and the entire LOM organization to effect the optimum result for our customers is critical to this role. The position has the potential for growth both in terms of the team managed and the financial rewards. We will offer a base salary with automatic increases triggered by success.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in securities brokerage with Series 7 , CSC, CFA or equivalent certification;
- Documented ability to assist raising assets and maintaining client relationships;
- Strong leadership and people management skills; Experience in sales of financial instruments;
- Demonstrable effective communication and presentation skills.
The following duties are key to the position (and this may expand as needed):
- Organize and chair weekly sales staff meetings;
- Evaluate and assess LOM and its brokers attendance at conferences;
- Maintain a monitoring system for LOM sales staff;
- Interact with LOM compliance and sign off on all new accounts;
- Review and mentor new sales staff during their probationary period;
- Assist new sales staff in obtaining meetings with new accounts and accompanying them initially;
- Allocate new internet leads to the appropriate brokers;
- Assist with new product development and oversee the creation of all marketing documents;
- Work with media (tv/ radio/ print).
