An Assistant Portfolio Manager
The LOM Group of companies and LOM Asset Management Limited are seeking a Portfolio Manager to assist with expansion in our international financial services firm.
The primary role of this exciting new position will be to work closely with our Portfolio Managers to execute mandates for high net worth individuals, trust accounts and small to midsize corporations.
LOM is expanding and seeking a young self starter to join our Asset Management division. This role will offer the opportunity to work toward becoming a portfolio manager. We will also expect the candidate to aspire toward achieving a CFA designation.
Core Roles will include:
• Execute Fixed Income Trades
• Reconcile trading and accounting systems
• Perform portfolio accounting tasks
• Rebalance portfolios
• Liaise with trade desks and back office to ensure accuracy of trades and accounts
• Assist money market, equity and balance fund portfolio managers with all aspects of their jobs
A university degree is mandatory and candidates with experience in the industry will be given preference.
We fully expect to hire a Bermudian (or spouse of) who can start working before the end of June.
