The first three months of the year may have flown by, but it’s still important to ensure your financial security for the remainder of the year. Here in the latest Wealth Wednesday with Dr. Doug, Lewis Cohen (Investment Advisor) has offered to sit down with you over coffee to discuss your goals and provide guidance. The best part? The consultation is free! Lewis also shared what to observe about the Fed Reserve rate hikes and what they may mean for your financial future.
During their conversation, Dr. Doug and Lewis also touched on the topic of “run on the bank”, both literally and figuratively, in light of the recent events at Silicon Valley Bank in March 2023. However, Lewis expressed his confidence in the overall economic situation, as well as the actions that were taken by the government and the global banking industry to prevent such occurrences from causing major damage. Dr. Doug also opened the idea of diversifying assets, such as through investing in gold bullion (which we happen to offer as a service). Be sure to check out the next clip about diversification.
A better way to understand diversification is by citing the great Warren Buffet as an example. Further on, Lewis recommended sectors are semiconductors and healthcare, especially for those who would like to diversify their portfolios.
