Alexander shares an important reminder that clients are often better served thinking about their long-term goals and asset allocation rather than focusing too much on the media’s latest investment “buzz”. He goes on to highlight that in the current market environment there are a lot of investors that are attracted to the fixed income returns available as opposed to not earning anything on cash deposits at the bank.

Dr Doug shares a personal family situation and asks what types of investment options could be available to best manage the extra money to secure the rest of his mother’s retirement.
